A 9-year-old gave birth on Jan. 27 in Jalisco, Mexico to a healthy 

Mexican authorities are searching for a 17-year-old, allegedly the father. The baby and underage mom, who did not realize she was with child until her seventh month, are healthy and resting, according to authorities in a Wednesday conference.

Lino Ginzalez Corona, from the local prosecutor's office spoke to the young mom, who told her she was involved in a "loving relationship." However, she is taking much of what the girl says with a grain of salt.

"Due to her young age, we don’t know if she is being entirely truthful," Corona said.

The girl only referred to as Dafne, lives with her parents and 10 other siblings in a small town. Most of the residents suffer from poverty. In fact, the girl's parents work long hours far away from home.

Authorities believe this is why they were likely unaware their child was having premature sex and with a much older person.

Alicia Gaston, a 20-year-old Ohio woman has been jailed after she allegedly raped her boyfriend's 7-year-old son.

According to police, Gaston was taken into custody after she confessed to having intercourse with her boyfriend's minor son. The alleged sexual contact reportedly took place in April, 2011.

Hamilton County Family Services officials - who have been charged with monitoring the child - stated that the agency was unaware of the abuse and didn't know why it hadn't been reported until now.

Gaston was booked into the Hamilton County Jail and charged with sexual intercourse with a minor - statutory rape. Her bail has been set at $75,000.

Jamie Nichole Phillips, a 20-year-old Ohio woman, was indicted Wednesday after she allegedly forced a 14-year-old boy to have sex with her at knife-point.

According to Police, a 14-year-old boy was visiting his mother when he left her apartment to get something from his car.

That's when Phillips, who lived in the same apartment complex, placed a knife to his throat and forced him into her her apartment. She then allegedly forced the boy at knife-point to perform various sex on her.

The victim was encouraged to tell his parents after he told friends what happened to him. His parents then told police, who found a knife and other supporting evidence at Phillips’ home. 

Phillips was booked into the Clermont County Jail and charged with rape, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, kidnapping and felonious assault. She is being held in lieu of $200,000 bond.
